Ultra-short-throw living-room cinema

Guide

Ultra-short throw versus long throw

Long throw can go very large, and the living room gives up the aisle. We put the work into 92–150-inch invisible cinema from the cabinet.

Throw ratio decides how people walk

Long throw wants the middle of the room or the ceiling. People walk through the beam. Children find the stand. Ultra-short throw sits on the cabinet and the aisle stays. That is the first fork in a living-room plan — earlier than brand or lumens.

The screens do not swap

UST ALR (CLR / CBSP) is cut for light from below. Long-throw ALR is cut for light from the front or the ceiling. The wrong panel is not “a bit worse”. The optical direction is reversed. See CLR versus UST ALR.

How large we go

NIKOHOME stays with 92–150-inch ultra-short-throw living rooms. 160–200-inch long-throw giants exist in the world. They are not our stock, and we do not list them as for sale. If the room only suits a long-throw engineering projector, we will say so — we will not invent a product line.

Only UST hides cleanly

The set in a cabinet, the screen from a floor box or a soffit: then the room can be furniture again. A long-throw host on the ceiling is a different building. The phrase invisible cinema assumes UST.

One visit explains more than a spec sheet

The Tongzhou showroom is by appointment. Send the room and we will sketch cabinet, screen and host first.
